Redskins Go Green

Almost all of the new solar panels have been installed at FedEx Field and will cover twenty percent of the facility's energy use on game days and one hundred percent on non-game days. (If you do the math that means game days use a whole lot of electricity). They also have ten parking spots reserved for electric car charging stations, but we don't know if that means those parking spaces cost even more than the others. [WaPo]
