Obama Eats A Burger; Bobby's Burger Palace Opening Soon

CAPITOL HILL—The debt-ceiling deal is finally over, and so President Obama decided to take his economics team out for lunch at Good Stuff Eatery on Capitol Hill. Eater has the lowdown on the President's visit, including his burger order — which was not the President Obama burger that just so happens to be on the restaurant's menu.

K STREET—Assuming all licensing goes well, celebrity chef Bobby Flay will open his first DC location of Bobby's Burger Palace on August 16.

TYSONS CORNERCava Grill, the fast-casual version of Cava Mezze, announced this week that it will be opening up a second outpost in Tysons Corner Center.

MT. VERNON SQUARERogue 24 chef RJ Cooper caught Washington Post critic Tom Sietsema dining at his new restaurant on its second night of service, after an interview last week in which the critic said he generally prefers to give new restaurants a little more time before visiting. Sietsema then wrote about Rogue 24 for his First Bite column this week and fielded some questions on the whole matter in his online chat.
