DC Housing Inventory, Foreclosures, And Price Per Square Foot

Earlier this month ZipRealty took a look at the numbers for local home sales and found out DC has had a wild ride these past few years. Most would say that these up and down swings are better than a market that keeps going down, but that doesn't mean this has been an easy few years. Besides looking at the foreclosures and short sales (in the thumbnail at right) they also looked at the vast changes in housing inventory the region has seen in the past two years and, interestingly, how seasonal the price per square foot is.
