A Former George Washington Watering Hole Can Be Yours

Our friends at Curbed National rounded up some Revolutionary era homes for sale, but we found another one over the weekend that bears taking a look at. According to the listing this was originally a tavern and is where George Washington spent his last Fourth of July. It still has some of the original wide plank pine wood floors, which are hard to find these days (even in Old Town). The carriage house is from the same 1780s era, but no doubt the pool came later. All that and just under half an acre of land in Old Town costs $3.9M.
