Tax Troubles At Kushi; Matchbox Headed To 14th Street

MT. VERNON SQUARE—The DC Office of Tax and Revenue forced Kushi to temporarily close last weekend after the restaurant was late in paying installments of the more than $129,000 it owed in 2010 sales and use taxes. The Japanese izakaya is back open now.
