Gaslight Square, the cousin of the Mercer and Wooster luxury apartment buildings, is growing up to be such a good little family member. Here she/he is all framed out and ready for some real walls. This is the 117-unit building by Abdo Development that will forgo things like hallways (Jim Abdo explained this earlier in the spring). Instead each unit will have access via a private elevator that can only go to a resident's unit if he or she has the right key card. And of course, there will be gaslights all around the exterior. The building is expected to be completed by spring of next year. [DCMetrocentric; previously; previously]
