See the some of the rapidly changing neighborhoods in DC through the eyes of teenagers. The National Building Museum hosted a four-week summer institute for local middle and high school students to document the city with digital cameras and the results are ready for everyone to see. They focused on the neighborhoods of Mt Pleasant, Bloomingdale, and the Atlas District and their work will be on display from July 30th until May 28th, 2012. The opening reception will be held July 29, 2011 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm and is free and open to the public. [NBM]
