Gross And Sweaty Hockey Players Usually Hang Out Here

The locker room for the visiting hockey team at Verizon Center is no place for one of the world's most popular religious leaders, but don't tell the Dalai Lama that. Hopefully he had no idea that during his recent ten-day workshop at the Verizon Center his backstage green room was the locker room transformed from its typical army barracks decor to the peaceful oasis you see above. See the video showing how Kevin Fitzsimons, a Canadian designer and practicing Buddhist, transformed the space in less than two days and even gave His Holiness a La-z-boy.
