Needle Park Becomes Peanut Park; New HGTV Show Episode In Va

Open House for New Series to Take Place in Aldie, Virginia

ALDIE, Va., June 13, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The following is being released by Van Metre Homes:

WHAT: HGTV fans from Northern Virginia have a chance to see the production of a brand new series called Showhouse Showdown that premieres on August 29 at 10 p.m. EDT.

Showhouse Showdown is a competition between two professional interior designers who get identical budgets and the chance to create a winning interior design for two newly built, mirror image homes.

The first 100 people on site will be given a scorecard to vote in the competition by stating which of the designer's rooms they prefer over the other and then finally answering the all important question, "Which of the two homes would they buy?" Some attendees will even be asked to give their opinions on camera as they tour the highly designed homes.

WHEN: July 17, 2011 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
