GEORGETOWN—A fire broke out on Wednesday at Hook in Georgetown, spreading smoke to neighbor Tackle Box. Both restaurants will be closed indefinitely, according to owner Jonathan Umbel.

NAVY YARD—Forest City development group announced Monday that it is bringing not one but seven new restaurants to the Yards project in Southwest. Among them will be a craft brewery from the folks behind beer haven ChurchKey and a third location for Buzz Bakery.
EVERYWHERE—The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington held its annual Rammy Awards gala on Sunday night. The big winner of the night was Todd Gray of Equinox/Watershed fame, along with an endearing husband-and-wife double win for Birch and Barley chef Kyle Bailey and Neighborhood Restaurant Group pastry chef Tiffany MacIsaac.
