Guv'nah In Da House

Governor McDonnell's daughter got married this past weekend and held the reception at the two hundred year old governor's mansion in Richmond, VA. The lavish setting is the oldest continually occupied governor's residence in the country and managed to survive the Civil War. Above the mansion's executive director watches as crews erect a tent in advance of this weekend's wedding reception which served a Virginia-themed buffet that included locally-sourced food and wine. For a full set of photos of the mansion see the official website. [WaPo; Executive Mansion]
