The face of channel four's local news gets away from it all in Maryland's Western Shore in a house she says she 'rescued'. Wendy Rieger bought this 1920s bungalow in 1999 after doing an outdoor broadcast in Annapolis when the salty air made her think she needed to move to the water. "When the universe calls you, you don’t have a choice," she said. She put in long windows, a knotty pine staircase and based her color scheme on the colors of Key West.
