Pollin Family Ready To Sell Kalorama Home After Two Years

Once the home of The Field School, this single family home is hitting the market for the third time in five years. Before it was resurrected to its current high-end state it was filled with kids, classrooms, and a chemistry lab in the basement. A real estate agent bought it in 2002 for just shy of two million and he and his partner proceeded to put about the same amount of money into the renovations. He sold it for $3.825M in 2006 and those owners sold it to the David and Kirsten Pollin in 2009 for $3.95M. Now they have listed it for $4.395M (slightly less than its original list price when they bought it in 2009). Click through for a video tour of the 7,000 square foot with four kitchens, nine bedrooms, six/two bathrooms and not one single chemistry lab.
