Even though we are kicking off Curbed Outdoors Week next week we thought we'd get the party started a little early since a worth-going-to event takes place this Saturday. The Folger Shakespeare Library is holding their monthly tour of the Elizabethan Garden from 10 to 11 am and showing off the kinds of plants that inspired at least a few dozen sonnets. These tours are held on the third Saturday of every month through October, but the garden is open year-round Monday through Saturday for anyone who wants to meander at their own pace (from 10 am to 5 pm and before most performances). The garden and guided tour are free and open to the public. Photos by Julie Ainsworth
