What People With Computers Think Early DC Looked Like

The people at UMBC have provided a digital reconstruction of what DC looked like in 1814. Narrated by Dan Bailey, Director of the Imaging Research Center at UMBC, he talks through the different challenges they faced in trying to come up with an accurate topography of the hills and valleys of the undeveloped city. All we can say is, L'Enfant must have had it tough.
