Redistricting Is Expensive

Virginia has come up with a plan for its own redistricting, but now it has to come up with a big chunk of change to pay for the maps the State Board of Elections needs for each precinct. That number comes from an estimate of about $20,000 per precinct give or take a few hundred thousand. [PL]
