Decorating Doyenne

Every designer—be they a professional or amateur—has at one point been faced with the question 'where do I start?' Now there is a book that answers that very question. Charlotte Moss, originally from Richmond but now based in New York, has given readers a view into her creative process for her latest book Charlotte Moss Decorates. In an interview with The Post she dishes on where she gets her inspiration and says that the biggest mistake people can make when decorating their homes can be summarized with two words: bad lampshades. "Accessories cannot be the step-child of decorating," says Moss. [WaPo]
