Good Stuff Eatery Wins Best Burger Poll; Burgerball Fights

CAPITOL HILL—Spike Mendelsohn's Good Stuff Eatery ran away with the win for Eater's first-ever Best Burger in DC reader poll. He'll be facing off against the winners from all the other Eater cities later today, so get over to Eater National and vote!

BURGER WEEK—Is your hamburger aerodynamic enough for a burgerball fight? Eater found out the hard way.

BURGER WEEK—In celebration of the presidential love of burgers, Eater gathered three of DC's top chefs and asked them to each create a hamburger that POTUS and FLOTUS would love. All the chefs came up with delicious options, while BLT Steak's Victor Albisu netted the win with his spicy ramp mustard.

MCPHERSON SQUARE—Eater visited the McPherson Square Five Guys location and got a complete breakdown of just how many pounds of peanut oil and potatoes they use for their fries. Hint: It's a lot.
