Charlottesville Couple Turns For-Sale House Into Temporary Museum

For Sale By Owner is so yesterday. Now sellers have to turn their house into an event and that's just what a couple in Charlottesville, Va are doing in an effort to sell their updated 1920s home. In conjunction with this week's Garden Week the couple has turned their home into a full-sized exhibit of art and antiques that they are hoping will attract more people to come and check out the house too. The three bedroom, two and a half bath was revamped by the current owners (one of whom is an architect) and now lists for $585,000. One of the major upgrades was the rooftop addition that gives a panoramic view of the mountains from almost anywhere on the upper level. Choose from the the outdoor deck, the indoor bath tub with air-jets, or the sitting area near the natural gas fireplace. Photos from Andrea Hubbell
