Toki Underground Opens; Nats Get A Shake Shack, More!

ATLAS DISTRICT—The highly anticipated Toki Underground finally opens on H Street today, bringing with it Taiwanese-style ramen noodles and dumplings (and one heckuva sake list).

NAVY YARD—It's a Shack attack! Nationals Park announced earlier this week that New York institution Shake Shack is headed to the park in a big way — explaining why Five Guys got bounced.

PENN QUARTER—Fabio Trabocchi's Fiola is on track to open in Penn Quarter on April 11 (and possibly earlier). The acclaimed chef is marking his return from New York with rustic Italian fare, including a few old favorites from his days at the late Maestro in Tysons Corner.

CLEVELAND PARKMedium Rare, the new steak-frites venture from some famous culinary names, opened in Cleveland Park on Monday. Between the affordably pared-down menu and the knowledge that powerhouse Michel Richard consulted on the all-American desserts, this one looks to become a big neighborhood spot and a destination.
