One Less Gas Station In G-town Means More Room For Condos

New, 3 comments

Remember the sign that said Remember Valdez? Well the Exxon station below its former home is getting ready to enter its twilight years and something the district hasn't seen in a long time is going to take its place. Eastbanc Inc, frequent developer of all things Georgetown, is going to construct a building for about thirty-five high-end condos that will not, they repeat not, obstruct the views of the townhouses that are already there. Oh, except maybe the penthouse units. There's some debate about whether or not they will rise to living room level or not. But everything else will be neighbor-friendly.
