The team that designed Sidwell Friends School middle school, KieranTimberlake, also built a tree house on Taylor's Island, MD that sits on the Chesapeake Bay. They recently spoke to Philadelphia Magazine about their various design philosophies—including the plans for this house—and how they have stayed true to some of their early influences when they were going to see clients 'in an un-airconditioned car [wearing] a suit on a July day'.
