Spitzer Family Diversifies

When Eliot Spitzer announced he and his father were looking to add to their DC portfolio we thought it would be a property somewhere near L or K street, where they own two other buildings. Instead they went all the way to Maryland and bought One Bethesda Center—an office and retail complex. The sales price has not been disclosed, but the building was recently assessed at $54M, even though it sold in 2009 for $71M. UPDATE: The sales price has since been disclosed as being $90.3M.
