DEL RAY—President Barack Obama went out to Del Ray for some Christmas shopping this week and stopped off at Del Ray Pizzeria to pick up three large pies to bring back to the White House with him.

GEORGETOWN—When trends collide: super-trendy LA-based frozen yogurt chain Pinkberry officially opens in Georgetown — across the street from Georgetown Cupcake, no less — today.
