With the ink barely dry on the contract, the Wall Street Journal reports on this house sale over on Woodland Drive. The final price was $7.7M, after an initial asking price of $8,995,000. Seller Steven Shafran, previously an advisor to former Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, bought the house in 2007 for $7.4M and last week the unnamed buyers purchased the house through a trust. Adding to the house's pedigree is the note that it had previously been owned by former Sen. Bill Frist. It is a three-level Tudor with six bedrooms, a pool and pool house.
