Burgers For the 99 Percent; Bryan Voltaggio Does Lunch

DOWNTOWN—If you would like to eat your feelings regarding the Occupy DC protests, venture over to BLT Steak, which now features two very interesting burgers: the 99% burger on Wonder Bread and the 1% burger made with foie gras and gold leaf.

FREDERICKBryan Voltaggio announced this week that he'll be opening up Lunchbox, a casual lunch spot just blocks from Volt that will essentially take over lunch service from the popular restaurant.

DUPONT CIRCLE—Eater caught up with Yann de Rochefort, owner of the next New York restaurant that's gunning for DC, Boqueria. Originally slated to open in the Dupont Circle area this fall, Boqueria has now been pushed back to January.
