Auction Frenzy

The condo auction in Virginia's tallest building took place this past weekend with all original sixteen units selling fast. There was so much interest that the sellers released an additional two units and all eighteen properties were spoken for within half an hour of the auction's start. A representative for the seller tells Curbed that these sales prices for the eighteen condos were between $311,000 and $750,000 (which gives us a sense of the market mood, since a number of them had originally been listed for over a million dollars). The sellers had also kept some of the higher end penthouse units off the market, but given the high level of interest four of those units have now been released for sale. [previously]
