Lincoln Theater Lives

The much-loved Lincoln Theater that was on the brink of closing down in September has found new life. The stage that has seen performers such as Duke Ellington, Pearl Bailey, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday, and many others is now under the auspices of the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities. They plan to oversee a strategic plan that will help ensure the theater stays open for years to come. [previously; CurbedInbox]
