Today's House Of The Day in the Wall Street Journal is right down the interstate in Rockville. This 1900s-era 4 bed/2bath has been in the same family for the past forty years, but the husband has died and the wife has relocated to be near her son in Colorado. It started out on the market at $500,000 (too high!, says Goldilocks), but has come down to $399,999 (just right!). They bought the property for $37,000 in 1969 so a price hike only seems fair.
