This house could be both a pricechop and a pricehop contender. It has been on the market for a month for $12M, which is down from it's asking price of $18.5M two years ago. That price, however, was sixteen million dollars higher than what the owners bought it for in 2000 when it was two separate residences. They converted the two houses into one big one with 11 bedrooms, 9 full baths, 3 half baths and a couple 'tower sunrooms' for good measure. One of them looks like it has built-in indentations in the wall to show off a decorative plate collection (that would be in picture five). The house is also next door to the home owned by the late Herbert Haft.
