This spring, an RFP will open for the redevelopment of the former Eastern Branch Boys & Girls Club, a vacant building located in Hill East. The zoning for the site is RF-1, which allows buildings with at least 60 percent residential space.
Last year, the D.C. Zoning Commission approved developer Ditto Residential’s plans for Watkins Alley, a Hill East area that is currently more industrial than residential. Ditto has decided to join OPaL LLC on the project.
