To help with the process, Curbed has mapped 10 starter homes that offer at least two bedrooms and are priced under $425,000. It's worth knowing that the median listing price for a home in Washington, D.C. is currently $580,000, according to Redfin, with the most expensive homes found in the Northwest quadrant.
