To get a share of some preservation money, the Congressional Cemetery will have to prove its more popular than the Marine Corps War Memorial, the Meridian Hill Park and 21 more area sites. A new competition will let you, the voting public, vote for which projects you want to get the most of $1M towards historic preservation. There will be an open house at all 24 sites on May 4 and 5 and voting ends May 10. A quick check of the voting page this am had the Washington National Cathedral in first place.
