In other thievery news hundreds and thousands of dollars of furniture, cleaning supplies, and other miscellaneous building supplies have been recovered after being stolen from Senate office buildings. One person admitted to stealing three truckloads of furniture and another to stealing $13,570 worth of goods to sell to a used furniture store in Virginia. But the assistant U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia isn't going to prosecute because of the 'internal control deficiency" that existed which allowed all these thefts to occur.
